Crime Shows 2

    I had to laugh. After posting Crime Shows I tuned in Five-0. Steve had the perp cornered, but somehow he escaped and had to be chased.
    The new generation use that technique as well. Mac, for example, cuffs the bad guy, but he manages to jump off the roof. H has the terrorist in his sights, but when he is 50 yards away, he points his gun and says freeze. Is it surprising when he gets away and has to be chased? Even I could get away at that range.
    In fairness, there is one difference in the current crop. There are no lights at any crime scene, so everything is done in the dark.
